Terms & Conditions
1. Taster Sessions & Booking
1.1. All participants are welcome to one taster session. Further taster sessions are at the discretion of Mighty Netball.
1.2. Your place is held only once your taster session has been paid for. Places cannot be held via phone or email. Payment must be made via the booking system in advance of attending your taster session.
1.3. If you cannot attend your taster session, please notify us as soon as possible. If you do not attend and have not given notice, you will need to either book and pay for the following week’s session or choose to sign up without booking a second taster session.
1.4. Unattended taster sessions with no notice given will not have their place guaranteed for another week, and it may be released to the waiting list. Exceptional circumstances will be considered.
1.5. After your taster session, your place will be held until the following Wednesday (3–4 days later). To guarantee your place, you must sign up by setting up your subscription before this date. After this deadline, your place may be offered to the waiting list.
1.6. If you are on the waiting list and offered a place, you must pay for your taster session by the deadline stated in the email. If payment is not received, the place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
1.7. Payment is due after your taster session and before attending any further session. This is in the form of signing up to a monthly subscription.
1.8. By booking with Mighty Netball, you agree to adhere to our Code of Conduct, which can be found on the Mighty Netball website.
2. Subscription & Payment Terms
2.1. Weekend sessions operate on a subscription payment model. You must give one month's notice to leave. Any refunds due will be calculated at the point of leaving.
2.2. The subscription fee covers 33 weeks of netball training across the year. Payments are evenly spread over 12 months to ensure affordability and consistency.
2.3. In outdoor venues (Berkhamsted, Bristol, Rickmansworth), subscriptions cover 32 weeks of training. One session is deducted in anticipation of potential weather-related cancellations. If additional sessions are cancelled, the subscription fee will be adjusted accordingly.
2.4. Payments are processed on the 1st of each month. Failure to make a payment may result in the cancellation of your child's place.
2.5. Subscriptions use a recurring card payment rather than a direct debit. Payments are taken from the parent/carer's credit or debit card instead of via bank details (sort code and account number).
2.6. If a payment fails due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or bank decline, it will be retried on the 4th and 9th of the month. If the payment remains unsuccessful, we reserve the right to withdraw your child’s place.
2.7. Sibling discounts of 10% apply to second and subsequent children. If this discount is not reflected in your subscription, please contact us.
3. Cancellations, Refunds & Adjustments
3.1. No refunds are provided for missed sessions. Subscription fees remain the same each month, regardless of how many sessions fall within a given month.
3.2. If Mighty Netball cancels a session (e.g., due to weather or coach illness), the cost of that session will be deducted from your next month’s payment.
3.3. If a child no longer wishes to attend, the one-month notice period applies. For families with multiple children, any necessary adjustments will be made after the notice period, and refunds will be issued where applicable.
3.4. In cases of illness or injury, temporary breaks will be considered on a case-by-case basis. However, if the class is full, we may not be able to hold your child's place.
3.5. For families with unique attendance needs (e.g., children attending every other weekend), please contact us at bookings@mightynetball.co.uk to discuss alternative arrangements.
3.6. For all Camps, Tournaments, Masterclasses, Private Coaching, or any other Mighty Netball sessions, refunds will not be offered within two weeks of the start date. As a small business, we appreciate your understanding.
3.7. Refunds for items that are not part of a subscription (e.g., camps or masterclasses) will incur a 5% administration fee.
4. Changes & Updates
4.1. If your card expires or you need to update payment details, please do so via your account. If a payment attempt fails, an email notification will be sent to prompt you to update your details.
4.2. If you are due a credit from a previous term, this will either be refunded or applied as a discount to your subscription payment.
4.3. Mighty Netball reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any significant changes will be communicated via email.
4.4. We reserve the right to move your session to another venue within a 5-mile radius if the original venue becomes unavailable.
5. Additional Information
5.1. We do not offer alternative payment methods for weekend sessions. The subscription model has been introduced to simplify payments and reduce administrative work.
5.2. Trial sessions are available before committing to a subscription.
5.3. No joining fee is required.
5.4. Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring their child attends the sessions wearing appropriate sportswear.
5.5. If you need further assistance, you can find guidance on setting up your subscription in the Class4Kids Subscription Guide.
5.6. Children must not attend if they have experienced any sickness or diarrhoea within the last 48 hours. This is to protect the health of all participants and staff.
5.7. If a child is collected late and this results in our coaches remaining past their scheduled hours, a charge of £1 per minute will be applied. We will never leave a child unattended, even if requested by the parent or carer.
6. Bad Weather Cancellation Policy
6.1. Mighty Netball strives to be a reliable provider of our netball sessions. We will only cancel due to bad weather when the safety of Mighty Netballers and Coaches cannot be ensured.
6.2. If a session hasn’t been cancelled the day before, should conditions worsen overnight (e.g., an unexpected frost has left courts icy and unsafe), we aim to notify parents and guardians by 7am.
6.3. Extenuating circumstances may occasionally mean this isn’t possible; we will communicate as soon as possible. Any cancellations made on the day of the session will be notified by email and text.
6.4. Some, unfortunately not all, venues have an indoor option as back-up. If the session is moving indoors due to bad weather, we will notify parents and guardians via email.
6.5. When Mighty Netball cancels a session, credit/refunds are issued.
